The same data behind this site, available as a licensed, key-gated API. Each plan combines a monthly allowance of city records (one call = one city), a per-minute burst limit, and a licence scope. Scores are recomputed daily; the underlying data refreshes on a tiered schedule, from weekly for events to quarterly or annual for slow government feeds.

Questions about plans
Is CityFunIndex really free?
Yes. The Fun Score, every ranking, every leaderboard, compare and personalize are free forever, with no account required. The paid plans only add depth on top of that.
What is the difference between Data and Pro?
Data unlocks the raw measured numbers behind every score, plus history, exports and a capped taste of the AI — city reports and plain-English answers at half the Pro limits. Pro lifts those caps and adds the premium tools: Find My City and multi-city relocation briefs.
How is the API priced?
Every paid plan combines three things: a monthly allowance of city records (one call = one city — fetch a city and it costs one, a bulk response covering N cities costs N), a per-minute burst limit, and a licence scope. The allowances are sized so the lower tiers cannot pull the whole dataset in a month, and the bulk endpoints that return every city at once are reserved for Business and Enterprise. The 0–100 scores stay free to read on the website; Startup licenses the raw data for one commercial site; Business adds multi-domain rights, bulk export, white-label and a delivery SLA; Enterprise removes the call cap and adds offline delivery for platform-scale buyers.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans are month-to-month — cancel in a click and keep access through the end of the period. Annual plans run for the term you have paid for; cancelling stops the next renewal.
How is payment handled?
Securely through CondorBox, the billing umbrella behind every Chicha Technology product. Card details go straight to Stripe — CityFunIndex never sees or stores them.
Can cities or businesses pay to rank higher?
No. Rankings come from the data alone, and the methodology is public so anyone can check. Paid plans buy access to data and tools — never placement.
