For business

The Fun Score belongs on every listing.

Walk Score put a walkability number on millions of property listings, and Redfin acquired the company. The Fun Score answers the next question every buyer asks once the commute checks out — how much is there actually to do here? Put it on your platform.

Built for

Real-estate platforms & portals

Enrich every listing and neighborhood page with the number buyers ask about once the commute checks out: how much is there to do here? It is the Walk Score play — a location score that earns its place on the page.

Travel, tourism & destination guides

Put a "how fun is it here?" score on every destination page, trip planner and city guide — and let visitors re-weight it for a trip rather than a move, dialing up nightlife, live music and events. The leisure-shaped factors travel readers actually care about, on one national scale.

Brokerages & agents

Give every client a transparent, sourced read on a location — a concrete talking point for the listing, not a vague gut feeling about the neighborhood.

Relocation, proptech & research

Feed the Fun Score and all 23 factors into relocation tools, market reports and models — clean, documented data on one national scale.

Why a platform can build on it

Every factor, every city — 23/23 live

All 23 factors are live and ranked for every city — none is deferred or held out of the leaderboards. Most city-by-factor cells are direct measurements; the few that lack source coverage fall back to a disclosed §6.5 placeholder rather than dropping the factor. Competing indexes generally do not publish their coverage stats at all, so you can hand a partner a defensible, fully-disclosed coverage line out of the box.

A methodology anyone can audit

The scoring is public and documented down to the formula. No city or business can pay to rank higher — so the number stays credible on your page, not just on ours.

One number, 23 factors

Simple on the surface — a single 0–100 score — and granular underneath, with eating, nightlife, live music, the outdoors, crime and traffic each addressable on their own. The major livability indexes expose between 1 and 10 inputs; we expose 23, every weight published, and every score re-weightable to your reader's own priorities.

A versioned schema, on a predictable cadence

Integrate against a documented schema with an algorithm version stamped on every record. Scores recompute daily, but the schema and algorithm version change only on a published calendar — so you plan your deploys around a known contract, never a moving one.

Every US city, one scale

Each city is measured against every other on the identical 23 factors, so a Fun Score means the same thing in Austin as it does in Akron.

What it costs

Free to read on the website; pay only when you build the index into a commercial product. Each plan pairs a monthly allowance of city records (one call = one city) and a per-minute burst limit with a deployment scope — a single site, a multi-domain platform, or unlimited. The lower rungs can’t pull the whole index in a month; the bulk endpoints that return every city at once are Business and Enterprise only.

Startup

$49/mo

50 city records / month · 60/min

Commercial licence for a single product.

Business

$249/mo

1,500 city records / month · 300/min

License the index across a platform.

Enterprise

From $1,000/mo

Unlimited city records · 1,200/min

License the whole dataset, at scale.
